Today was a normal school day. We would like to give a very warm welcome to our two new students Isaac and Herby; Aunty Hoki's grandchildren. We hope they enjoy their time with us in Room 3.
Matua Joel from Sport Northland came in to visit our Kura. He came to see how we were and also to chat about a couple of things relating to Sporting events over the last part of the term. Coming up we have the year 7-8 Rippa-Rugby tournament; this will be held at the Kaikohekohe fields. Thank you so much whanau.

Everyday Routine

Today the Room 3 students had their first lesson on keyboard skills. We are learning how to type properly by using the right fingers for the right keys. Monday to Friday we will be having a 15 minute session every morning. The students are finding it a bit strange and also difficult to use specific fingers and are trying to adapt the habit of only using their two index fingers to type. We are sure they will get it over time. The students in Room 3 are enjoying the opportunity their parents have presented and are embracing it with two hands.
